Update on Keith’s Harley Davidson

// August 31st, 2009 // 1 Comment » // Blog, News

Bike Week 2006 003Wanted to let everyone know that Keith’s Harley had to be put in the shop this morning. Engine was making a really strange noise. Turns out it needed the cams replaced, shoes, tensioner, oil pump and bearings. Good news is that the extended warranty covered most of it. A special friend even provided us with a free hotel room at the Hampton Inn. The Lord has called us to travel and reach the lost. Once again he has taken care of us and meet every need.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other. John 15:16-17 NIV

Chattahoochee Harley Davidson Columbus, Ga did a great job!

001 (2)This quote is from God’s Little Devotional Book. This morning Keith and I head out once again, to continue the Task that He has set before us. We are looking for doors to be opened, by us putting forth an excellent effort. An effort that pleases God which will open doors of opportunity to lead lost people to the Savior. Keep us in prayer as we travel on the bikes, over to the east coast of Florida and then up to Georgia and back.

We are in need of several items for our ministry. Both are for our health and safety. The items are cool vest to help keep our temperture down when were out riding in extreme heat. The second item is Hi viability reflective vest. They will increase the chance of us being seen at all times while out on the road. If you could help with one or all four items it would be so much appreciated. We need $50.00 for each or $200.00 for all four. God bless and thanks! 863-581-3703

More Than Mickey Mouse In Orlando

// August 10th, 2009 // No Comments » // Blog, News

We were able to spend several days in Orlando, Fl last week. It was the Bi-Annual meeting of the Assemblies of God. We had a wonderful time, reconnecting with friends and Pastors from across the United States. On Thursday Chaplain Keith Turcotte lead the Honorbound Motorcycle Ministries, General Council Ride, assisted by Chaplain Duane Gryder and Chaplain Fred Higgins. It included 22 bikes. The ride was 100 miles, through scenic back roads, and over the highest point in Florida and ended with lunch. Riders were Pastors and some lay people from across the United States.

We attended the US Missions luncheon on Friday! While there, we heard several exciting testimonies. One from a pastor who’s church started from nothing, in an area that in the past had closed it’s doors many times. With a new pastor and a refreshed vision, along with a team of RV Maps workers, the church is thriving. Next, was a lady who had struggled with Drug abuse. She was introduced to pastors with an inter city ministry that showed love and gave support. There she was able to thrive and has become a powerful women of God.

General Council was a wonderful time of fellowship and spiritual up lift!

100_4593Keith, and I had a blast at the US Mission Celebration. There we had a time of refreshing and spiritual up lifting. We were able to reconnect with old friends, as well as meet new ones. US Missionaries with many different fields of ministry, but with the same calling. A calling to reach America with the gospel of Jesus Christ. From Missionaries to the Native Americans, College Campuses with Chi Alpha, and of course to the Bikers of America! We are so honored to be apart of the Assembly of God US Missions team!
