If a task is once begun, Never leave it ’till it’s done. Be the labor great or small, Do it well or not at all.

001 (2)This quote is from God’s Little Devotional Book. This morning Keith and I head out once again, to continue the Task that He has set before us. We are looking for doors to be opened, by us putting forth an excellent effort. An effort that pleases God which will open doors of opportunity to lead lost people to the Savior. Keep us in prayer as we travel on the bikes, over to the east coast of Florida and then up to Georgia and back.

I began working when I was 13 years old. About the same time I ran across this quote in an old McDuffy’s Reader that I found in an old abandoned school house and it has been my work mantra ever since that time. I have always used this quote as my own personal way of getting successfully through the most difficult jobs I’ve taken on. It is still my most favorite quote. I have never thought of it of it as a gift from God, but perhaps it really is a gift that has helped me tackle everything I must do to be successful in life. And, it has been!
