IMG_3887-1It’s already been a great start of 2010, its hard to believe it’s the end of March. Even with it being an unusually cold winter here in Florida, we were able to brave the cold and ride on. We have had several Honorbound Motorcycle Ministries events here in the Penn Florida District. In February we had the Penn Florida HBMM cookout in Turkey Creek, Fl. Even with the weather in the 30’s that morning, we had over 60 riders come out for food, fellowship and prayer. Several different chapters were represented.

Our biggest event so far, has been Daytona Bike Week. Free Bike Wash and Oil Change. This event is servanthood evangelism. We believe that just as Jesus washed the disciples feet, we wash motorcycles. We use this so that by all means some will come to the knowledge of Christ. Several received Christ as Savior, and many allowed us to bless their bikes and pray a prayer for safety. Thank you to everyone that came from all over the United States to help.

In just a few weeks, Lynn and I will be leaving for the Summer. We will be traveling to many places, such as the Outer Banks Bike Rally, Chicago, Run for the Wall, Americade, Laconia, and many places in between. Please keep us in prayer for safety, souls won for Christ, and for our financial needs to be met. If you are currently supporting us, we say thank you so much. Your sacrifice does not go unnoticed. If you do not support us, but could help us in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.

Currently we are in the process of holding a benefit event for the Johnson Family. Check out the info on our web-site.

// March 25th, 2010 // No Comments » // Events, News

JohnsonsWe are having a fund raiser for Don and Diane Johnson, their home burnt and they had no insurance. They lost everything and are living in a small camper trailer. Don is a disabled Viet Nam Vet and a retired Highway Patrolman. He is one of our countries true heroes. Diane is retired from Wal-Mart. We would like to help them get back on their feet by holding this benefit event. The date is April 10th with registration for the ride starting at 10:00 AM. Cost is $25 per rider and $10 per passenger. There will be three stops to make and receive a number per stop for the drawings. We will have lots of prizes to win and a 50/50 drawing. Lunch will be provided for all riders. If you only attend the event without making the ride, the cost for lunch is a minimum donation of $5. Everyone come out and show your support!

If you would like to help with the event such as cook the food, serve lunches, park bikes, work one of the stop locations, please give us a call. We are in need of financial and prize donations.

For more details feel free to call Chaplain Keith Turcotte at 863-581-3703.

The start and lunch location is at:

Daytona Bike Week Free Bike Wash

// March 9th, 2010 // No Comments » // Events, News

IMG_4057We just returned from Daytona Beach Bike Week. We believe in servanthood evangelism, so just as Jesus washed the disciples feet, we wash motorcycles. Using this means of ministry we were able to minister to several bikers. We were able to bless their bikes, pray for safety, and some received salvation. We had several members of our team go out and do one on one evangelism on the streets of Daytona beach. Several prayed a sinners prayer. Over all, the week was very successful week of ministry.
