The Johnson Family Bike Ride and Fund Raiser
// March 25th, 2010 // No Comments » // Events, News
We are having a fund raiser for Don and Diane Johnson, their home burnt and they had no insurance. They lost everything and are living in a small camper trailer. Don is a disabled Viet Nam Vet and a retired Highway Patrolman. He is one of our countries true heroes. Diane is retired from Wal-Mart. We would like to help them get back on their feet by holding this benefit event. The date is April 10th with registration for the ride starting at 10:00 AM. Cost is $25 per rider and $10 per passenger. There will be three stops to make and receive a number per stop for the drawings. We will have lots of prizes to win and a 50/50 drawing. Lunch will be provided for all riders. If you only attend the event without making the ride, the cost for lunch is a minimum donation of $5. Everyone come out and show your support!
If you would like to help with the event such as cook the food, serve lunches, park bikes, work one of the stop locations, please give us a call. We are in need of financial and prize donations.
For more details feel free to call Chaplain Keith Turcotte at 863-581-3703.

I want to report concerning our trip to North Carolina. The Maggie Valley Rally was not as productive as we had hoped. The rain really put a damper on people coming out to the Rally. We were able to make some connections and minister to several people in the area. After the Rally we spoke at First Assembly of God, Franklin, NC. During the morning service we had three people give there heart to the Lord! What a great and mighty God we serve!
