His Way Is Perfect!

// August 12th, 2010 // No Comments » // Blog, News

We were at the seen of a bad accident today. 6 or 7 bikes involved, with one fatality. Please pray for family and friends. Had to get involved physically and spiritually. I guess it’s good that we were there, but very difficult for everyone concerned. Still involved with it. Thanks for your prayers.

We are so thankful for the perfect timing of our God. As we started to leave the event in Hewlett, WY we got separated from our friends. This caused us to turn around to find them. After we left a motor home pulled out in front of us. Both of these events slowed us down for several minutes. The amount of time that keep us from being right in the middle of this wreck. God is such an awesome God!

Ministry Trip To Sturgis

// August 2nd, 2010 // No Comments » // Blog, Events, News

sturgis-rally-logoWe’ve already been on the road for 9 day’s. In the morning we leave Manchester, GA headed toward Sturgis, SD. It will be Friday before we reach our destination. Please keep us in prayer for safety, good weather, divine appointments, and souls to be saved. We have been riding in weather that is 100 degrees or more everyday. It is very hard on our body’s to travel in this extreme heat. Thank you for your prayers, and financial support. Without you, we could not do the ministry we do, so you are apart of everyone that is reached through this ministry. We are very excited about the opportunities that await us during the travel and while out in Sturgis.

Laconia Outreach

// June 23rd, 2010 // No Comments » // Blog, Events, News

The outreach at Laconia Bike Week is over and was a big success! We gave out countless cups of coffee and water. Bibles, tracts, gospel coins and cross pennies were made available to whoever wanted them. We were able to minister to many and we had at least one saved. Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support.

Laconia Free Coffee & Water

// June 15th, 2010 // No Comments » // Blog, Events, News

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Yesterday, it was a pretty slow day at the Free Coffee Outreach. Just when we thought that it was an uneventful day, and we had closed up for the night, someone knocked on the door of the church. Standing there was a man with tears running down his face, distraught and suicidal. The Police had walked with him to make sure he did no harm to himself. After Keith counseled with him, he was able to lead him to Christ! His whole countenance changed and he was a new man! We gave him resources for continued counseling and help in his home town. Which so happened to be Springfield, MO, our Assembly of God Headquarters! What an awesome God we serve. Please keep Rick in your prayers! If not for your prayers and financial support each month, Rick may be in eternity today! THANK YOU!
Please continue to keep us in your prayers!

God’s Riches Blessings!

Ministry Update June 2, 2010

// June 2nd, 2010 // No Comments » // Events, News

(3 of 11)Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are in the midst of an extended ministry trip, spending three weeks in the Carolinas doing outreach, had one week home. We repacked and have been on the road on our bikes since Mothers Day, we want be back until sometime in July. Already, we have traveled up to the Chicago area for a Bike Blessing/Biker Weekend. Sharing the message that we can be more than a lighthouse! We can be a life saving station. We have spoken in churches, bike events, joined with Run for the Wall for many days, helping to lead 600 veterans to the Vietnam Wall in Washington, DC. Trying to minister to whomever the Lord places in our path. We have over a Month before we are back in Florida. Please keep us in prayer; we leave W. Virginia tomorrow headed to New York for The Americade Motorcycle Rally and the following week Laconia Motorcycle Rally in NH.

Recently our Pen FL District Assistant Superintendent Ed Russo sent out a great newsletter. It was about how the church needs to be more outward focused.
Pastor Russo made this statement”. Today, America is a land of lost people.” This statement cannot be truer! We are out on the streets and see the lost and hurting people. We meet people every day that have not heard that Jesus loves them !

Thank you, for your prayers, we need your prayer covering. Thank you, for your financial support, we need funds to keep us on the road. Please don’t forget about us, our support has dropped several hundred dollars, per month since the beginning of the year. If you have committed to supporting us monthly, please be faithful, the Lord will bless you in return. We are continuing to trust God and do the work we are called to do. If you are not supporting us monthly or can send a onetime offering, it would be so appreciated.

God Bless you all!

Run For the Wall

// May 27th, 2010 // No Comments » // News

For several days Keith and I have been going across country with The Run For the Wall, the 22nd year of the event. This is a Veterans ride to bring awareness to Prisoners Of War – Missing in Action. This ride started on May 19th in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and will end May 30th at the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, DC. Keith and I were not able to join the ride until the stop in Wentzville, MO Tuesday the 25th. This is to promote healing among all veterans and their families and call of accountability for all prisoners of War and POW/MIA. Keep us in prayer as we complete our mission! Welcome Home

First Week of Our Trip

// May 15th, 2010 // No Comments » // Blog, News

Wednesday morning we loaded the bikes and headed northwest. We had stayed the night at the Appalachian Assembly of God Camp. They are such a great blessing to us, allowing us stay there, as well as leave equipment as we come and go for the next two months, doing ministry. The weather was in the 50’s and overcast. Before long there was a misty rain which turned into a pretty heavy rain. I got to try out the new Frogg Toggs I bought for the trip. We stopped in Wheeling, WV around 5:30 because of the weather conditions. Thursday was very cool and a long day, 380 miles riding on interstate the whole way. We were able to avoid rain (always a good thing). After finding a Cracker Barrel for a meal, we stopped in Lafayette, IN for the night. Friday morning another jacket day, so windy we thought we were bobble head dolls. A short day of only 180 miles, but with the wind, it seemed twice as far. New Life Church has invited us for the whole weekend, for a Bike Blessing, Ride, Message, Pizza Night, and Wild Hogs the movie! Sunday, Keith will speak in three services, we are so thankful for the opportunity to share and spend time with our friends here at New Life. It is always a special treat to be here to help kickoff their riding season. –Lynn

Mountain Road

// April 26th, 2010 // No Comments » // Blog, News

_The last few days we have been in Franklin, NC. to minister at First Assembly. After traveling Saturday 325 miles to get there, of which 125 was in the rain. I discovered I had to go up a steep partly gravel road, the top was pavement, but probably a 15% grade. RAIN, GRAVEL, STEEP SLOPE, in my eyes something I could not do, did not want to do. With God’s help, I made it to the top! I saw a post on Facebook-Gal 6:9 Don’t let go of your courage!…because we will reap if..if..if..we don’t loosen our grip of courage!! I pray for courage to over come the fears I encounter on the bike and in life, but most of all, to not be afraid of their faces, and to show that we really do care. If I make a difference in someone’s life, then it’s worth scaling a mountain road with my bike.
